What the app does
Healthread keeps every medicine you take in one place — the schedule, the stock, the cost — and checks them against each other, so two medicines quietly doing the same job get flagged rather than missed. Around that sit a symptom checker, skin analysis, custom health trackers, and condition threads where people manage the same things you do.
Where we draw the line
Healthread is not a clinician and does not try to sound like one. Interaction and duplicate checks are automated and advisory. The symptom checker and skin analysis are there to help you decide whether and when to see someone — never to tell you what you have, and never to tell you to stop a medicine. Clinical reference comes from UpToDate and drug information from the FDA label, both attributed in the app.
How it is paid for
The app is free to use for threads, articles, your profile and one custom tracker. The clinical tools are a monthly subscription with a 7-day trial, billed through the App Store or Google Play. There is no advertising business behind it and your health data is not the product.
